I noticed something the other day while I was walking on campus.
As I walk from building to building going to and from my classes, I take elevators. I know, it seems pretty normal. Who doesn't take an elevator once in a while? But what I realized is that my mind tends to wander while I'm waiting for the elevator to come or for the doors to close, etc. And in those moments, I catch myself rating the different elevators I take on how they would stand up in a horror movie.
For example, if I were running away from some mass murdering psychopath and found this elevator, would it come in time for me to get away before he caught up to me? And for that matter, do the doors close quickly enough that he couldn't get in? And how quickly does the elevator move once the doors are shut? Because everybody knows that if you're running away from a Velociraptor, you'd need to move quickly so it doesn't have time to pry the doors open.
These are the things I think about...
Oh my gosh... I'm not alone!!!
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of blogs; thorkgal.blogspot.com and a random blog; wth-thorkgal.blogspot.com you may just get my randomness. Haha
And... if you're running away from a murderer don't you know you always get tramped running up into a building? Plan B....
